NOSTA AGM @ The Station Hotel in Stoney on Friday 6th Feb 2009.

Attended by around 22 members
1) Short Chairman’s Address as no Chairman present. Just thank people for coming in such bad weather conditions.
2) Committee was voted in with a quick forward and seconded by members in attendance.
3) The Accountant’s report was handed out and run through. The just of it was we made nearly two grand in 2008 and have nearly three grand in the bank. A good number to run with considering all.
4) The issue of drink and smoking on the match buses was discussed and re-iterated that it is against the law to drink on the bus going to and from the games. The members agreed to be more vigilant with it all and lend a hand with self policing especially where non-members may not know the rules.
5) The NOSTA Tartan was shown to all in actual cloth format, Murchie brought a cut off along with him. The members were reminded of where to go for a kilt made in the tartan and details can be found on the NOSTA website.
6) It was decided that if a member has missed three S/O payments and did not respond to attempts to rectify this they will be automatically removed from the NOSTA database and will no longer be members of NOSTA.
7) No Team GB was discussed and on the whole the membership agreed with the principal of it all. It was decided that we will support the cause but only with a banner on the NOSTA website at this moment in time.
8) It was decided to have the 2010 NOSTA AGM in The Station Hotel, Stonehaven on the 1st Friday of February 2010. It was also decided to hold a poll on the NOSTA website as to the location of the 2011 AGM.
9) I cannae mind if there was any other business – nought in my notes.

He would not be hard to negotiate terms with and his current club will not be lookin for compensation and it might mean backroom staff jobs for some of us
